WordPress komt binnenkort met Gutenberg. De beta is inmiddels te testen.

Hebben jullie er al mee gewerkt en wat vind je ervan?

heb er nog niet mee gewerkt, maar hoop dat de mogelijkheid om direct in HTML te editen blijft; meestal doe ik WYSIWYG, maar soms is fine-tunen in de code wel fijn :-)

Gutenberg ❤. Zeker al opgepakt en de nodige development voor uitgeprobeerd. Mooie ontwikkeling die op termijn voor mooie dingen gaat zorgen ? 

Ik heb hem geïnstalleerd op 1 van mijn sites. Eens kijken wat het is....

Nog niks mee gedaan, maar lijkt me wel beter dan de huidige editor

Zojuist een artikel(tje) over geschreven. Binnenkort maak ik er een uitgebreide video over!

Nice. Ik denk dat hierdoor een hele hoop pagebuilders en plugins de deur uit kunnen.

Denk dat deze quote zeer op zijn plaats is:

"It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is most adaptable to change."

Ik denk dat de bestaande pagebuilders op een andere voet door gaan. Gutenberg heeft zichzelf absoluut nog niet bewezen en is nog niet klaar om in elke website geïnstalleerd te worden (onder elk thema) met daarbij een goed resultaat te realiseren. 

Alvast 1 blog gemaakt (is nog niet af) met Gutenberg. Is ff wennen....

If you activate the Gutenberg plugin on your site and update to Yoast SEO 8.0, you’ll notice the Yoast SEO Gutenberg sidebar shining on the right side of your editor.

Not using Gutenberg yet? No problem. While redesigning our meta box to fit in the sidebar we took the opportunity to give the meta box below the post a complete overhaul too. It has a much clearer layout, improved UX and nicer design. It paves the way for all kinds of exciting new things in the future.

When blogging is not your main income, but a hobby or side business, it might be difficult to find time for your blog. Heb het nog niet getest maar al wel reviews over gelezen en de meesten zijn toch maar matig positief tot zelfs negatief. Heb ook geen idee hoe mijn woocommerce webshop er op gaat reageren.

Ik heb al veel gebruik gemaakt van Gutenberg en ben er best enthousiast over. Qua opbouw heb je meer mogelijkheden. Voor WooCommerce biedt het ook nieuwe mogelijkheden, bijvoorbeeld makkelijker producten in een landingspagina plaatsen.
